How multiple media files are detected
Read the post entries
When yt-dlp returns a playlist or multi-video response, SSGram examines up to 20 entries from it.
Keep supported direct files
Image files in JPG, JPEG, PNG or WebP and video files in MP4 or WebM can be accepted when returned. Unsupported streams, restricted entries and repeated file URLs are skipped.
Show separate downloads
SSGram can return up to 40 accepted files. The result page presents one download action per returned file, with format and dimensions when supplied.
The extractor does not guarantee a one-to-one result for every carousel slide, and SSGram does not package the files into a ZIP.

Why carousel results may be incomplete
- The URL points to a profile or the wrong post
- Submit the direct HTTPS link to the post containing the carousel. A profile link does not identify a specific media collection.
- Some slides are missing
- Instagram or the extractor may expose only part of a post. The extractor also skips unsupported formats, restricted entries and repeated file URLs.
- No photos or videos are returned
- The post may be private, removed, sign-in restricted or temporarily inaccessible, or the source may not provide a supported direct media file.
- The post contains only one item

How do I download an Instagram carousel?+
Copy the direct link to the public Instagram post, paste it into the downloader above, and submit it. If media is available, SSGram opens a result page where you can download the listed files individually.
Can I download all photos from an Instagram carousel at once?+
SSGram may return multiple image files from a carousel, but it does not create a ZIP or guarantee that every slide will be available. Each retained file has its own download button.
Can an Instagram carousel downloader save videos as well as photos?+
It can list accessible video files as well as images when the extractor returns them for the post. The result shows the available format and dimensions; the media types and number of files can vary.
Can I download a carousel that mixes photos and videos?+
If both image and video files are accessible from the public carousel link and returned by the extractor, SSGram can list both types on the result page. It cannot promise that every item in a mixed post will be returned.
Why are some carousel items missing from the results?+
Instagram may not make every item accessible, and private, removed, expired or login-restricted posts cannot be retrieved. SSGram also filters repeated representations with the same media type, format and dimensions, so the result list may not correspond one-to-one with the carousel slides.
Do I need an app or Instagram password to download a carousel?+
