What the source provides
The extractor accepts image files in JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP formats. SSGram passes through the image it receives and reports width and height when the source supplies those values.
Resolution is not enhanced
The available file determines the displayed dimensions and quality. SSGram does not upscale an image or guarantee an original-resolution version; a preview asset can be smaller than the post image.

When a photo post does not return an image
- Invalid or incomplete post URL
- Copy the full HTTPS link to the individual post. A profile address or a link with missing characters does not identify the photo post.
- The post is unavailable
- Private, removed, sign-in-restricted or temporarily inaccessible posts cannot be retrieved through SSGram.
- The post is a carousel
- A post with multiple media items may need the Instagram Carousel Downloader so you can review the individual files returned.
- The result has no image
- The source may not expose a supported image file, or its extractor response may not include the photo at that time. SSGram cannot create a missing image or turn a video into a still.
